1. Purpose of the Event

The “Resurgiendo Virtual Walk” is a charitable activity organized by Resurgiendo Foundation, aimed at raising funds to support women in their emotional healing, personal growth, and social reintegration journeys.
By registering for the event, each participant fully agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Nature of the Event

This is a virtual, non-competitive event. Participants may complete their walk, run, or physical activity from any location, at their own pace, and record their progress through the official Resurgiendo platform.
The main goal is to promote solidarity, health, and well-being — not athletic performance.

3. Registration

• Registration must be completed exclusively through the official Resurgiendo website.

• By registering, participants confirm that the information provided is truthful and that they have read and accepted these terms.

• Participation can be individual or as part of a team.

• The registration fee or minimum donation will go entirely toward the organization’s social programs.

4. Donations and Fundraising

• Each participant or team may receive donations through their personalized fundraising page within the platform.

• All donations are processed through the approved payment systems and directed exclusively to Resurgiendo’s social projects.

• Donations are non-refundable.

• Receipts generated by the system are informational only; official tax receipts can be requested directly from the organization.

5. Participant Responsibility

• Each participant is fully responsible for their physical condition and health during the event.

• Resurgiendo shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages occurring before, during, or after participation.

• Participants are encouraged to seek medical advice before engaging in physical activity and to stay properly hydrated.

6. Use of Personal Data

Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with Resurgiendo’s Privacy Policy, solely for the purpose of managing registrations, donations, and communications related to the event.
By registering, participants grant permission for their name, image, or progress to be used for promotional or awareness purposes related to the event.

7. Activity Tracking

• Distance, steps, or time logs submitted by participants rely on an honor system and are not verified through official timing systems.

• The goal is motivation and community engagement, not competition.

• Displayed results are symbolic and for encouragement purposes only.

8. Conduct and Respect

Participants agree to act respectfully, honestly, and in a spirit of solidarity.
Any offensive, fraudulent, or unethical behavior may result in disqualification without refund.

9. Event Modification or Cancellation

Resurgiendo reserves the right to modify event dates, rules, or cancel the event for reasons beyond its control.
In the event of cancellation, donations will not be refunded but will still be allocated to the intended charitable programs.

10. Intellectual Property

All platform content (text, images, logos, downloadable materials) is the property of Resurgiendo Foundation and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Reproduction or use for commercial purposes without written permission is strictly prohibited.

11. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the “Resurgiendo Virtual Walk” implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
By completing the registration, the participant acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to all of the above.
